Corrections Policy

NorovirusQuestions.com is committed to accuracy. All clinical content is reviewed monthly against current CDC and WHO guidance using an automated review process. Despite these measures, errors may occur. This page describes how we handle them.

How to Report an Error

If you believe a page on this site contains a factual error — a claim that contradicts current CDC, WHO, NIH, or peer-reviewed evidence — please contact us at andywilcox001@gmail.com with:

  • The URL of the page with the error
  • The specific claim you believe is inaccurate
  • A link to the authoritative source that contradicts it (CDC, WHO, NIH, or peer-reviewed journal)

How We Handle Corrections

We review all reported errors against the cited source. If the source clearly contradicts the claim, we correct the page within 5 business days and update the dateModified and lastReviewed schema fields to reflect the correction date. If the error is significant, we may note the correction at the bottom of the affected page.

We do not correct pages based on opinion, interpretation differences, or sources that are not authoritative (e.g., news articles, blog posts, anecdotal reports). Our corrections are grounded in CDC, WHO, NIH, or peer-reviewed primary sources.

Automated Monthly Review

In addition to reader-submitted corrections, all clinical pages are automatically reviewed on the 1st of each month against current CDC and WHO source content. This automated process identifies outdated statistics, changed guidelines, and new clinical recommendations. The "Last reviewed" date on each page reflects the most recent review, whether automated or manual.
